Established in 1962, Our sugar division crushes 7,000 tonnes of sugarcane everyday to produce refined sugar. Our Distillery division was established in 1967, which now produces 143,000 litres of Ethanol daily which is further processed to make Ethanol Fuel. The company also produces 18,000 tonnes of liquified CO2 which makes its way to some of the largest beverage producers in the country. HSM also maintains bulk terminals at the port for commodity storage as well as for import and export purposes.
Incorporated in 1969, HSM Textiles is a division of Habib Sugar Mills. The textile division manufactures and exports terry towels to some of the biggest retailers in Europe. Our plant consists of a vertically integrated production process, ranging from the newest weaving technology to the wet process of dyeing, finishing and stitching.
Over the last 50 years, HSM has evolved into a highly diversified company whose focus is not only on expansion of its core businesses, but also to continue to invest other ventures as a substantial shareholder both in the private and public space. Currently we are investing in Power Generation and in Consumer Foods sectors. Besides private investments in businesses, HSM continues to invest in companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Market with a dual focus on dividend income and company growth.
