Axiom Alternative Fund

Axiom Alternative Fund (“the Company”) is an exempted company with Limited liability incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 18th July 2001 pursuant to the Companies Law (2001 Second Revision) of the Cayman Islands under registration number 111639. The Company commenced operations on 8th April 2002. The Company maintains its registered office in the Cayman Islands. The financial records and statements are maintained and presented in United State Dollars (USD).

The Company has been formed to allow investors to participate in a portfolio of investments that is an alternative to traditional “long-only” investments. The investment objective of the Company is to create a diversified portfolio of “ market-neutral” and “relative-value” investments that offer one of the best risk/reward ratios in the investment industry.

The Company’s objective is to achieve a high compounded rate of return above US$ three month LIBID for its investors, over the long term with low annual volatility by allocating assets to Funds managed by non-traditional fund managers. These fund managers will primarily engage in a wide variety of market neutral, non-directional relative value arbitrage trading and investment strategies. The Company will select managers based primarily upon performance records that demonstrate their ability to deliver superior returns while rigidly controlling downside risk during adverse market conditions. Consequently because of the investment strategies, the Company is expected to have a low correlation to the underlying fixed income and equity markets.
